The cover art is a textile piece sewn from scrap fabrics. The base is black. On top are 20 pieces sewn in our national colours – red, white, blue and yellow – representing each of the book’s stories. It symbolizes the slow, deliberate work of acknowledging our history and stitching together a new social fabric.
