A series of animal placards for My Climate Strike march in Kuala Lumpur on 23 Sep 2019.

The animals are adapted from my linoprint illustration ‘Creatures of Lot 1699, Port Dickson’, which was originally made for the book Creatures of Near Kingdoms by Zedeck Siew.

The placards were later displayed in the group exhibition Climate, at Muzium Darul Ridzuan, as part of Ipoh International Art Festival 2019. I ran a workshop about plastic waste and the fossil fuel industry, where participants learned about the chemical makeup of plastics and drew the corresponding molecules on plastic rubbish. These were included in the final display.
