The author and illustrator of ‘Creatures of Near Kingdoms’, Zedeck Siew & Sharon Chin will share about how moving from the city to a smaller town brought them closer to animals and plants; at the same time, landed them 200m away from an oil refinery.

How does ‘Creatures of Near Kingdoms’ express their relationship to the local, and finding their place? They say ‘overgrown garden’ because being part of a place means to take care and tend, like a garden. But also learning to let be, let go and surrender to what is there.

Free admission. Limited seats. All are welcome.
